Film starring Elisa Eliot Accepted at Film FestivalTiny Terrors of The Mind Goes to Big Easy Short Film FestivalCongratulations, "Tiny Terrors of the Mind" has been accepted into New Orleans's Big Easy Shorts Festival this year! While this may be the first year for the festival, it is receiving all kinds of support from film industry insiders, making it the ideal festival to attend for the filmmakers accepted. As you may know, we also run the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival, and while that fest is "where the industry people are", the Big Easy Shorts Festival will provide just as many opportunities to network and make connections. We are working with a charity called the Friends of New Orleans... on its board are some of Hollywood's most important and influential people, most of whom will be attending festival and it's opening night party. The Friends of New Orleans board includes: James L. Honoree - Executive Vice President of Worldwide Post Production for Sony Pictures. Amy Pascal - Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group and Vice Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment. Taylor Hackford - Director of "Ray", "The Devil's Advocate", "White Nights", "Everybody's All American", and "Proof of Life". Mike Medavoy - Chairman and Co-Founder of Phoenix Pictures, producer of "Silence of the Lambs," "Philadelphia," and "The Thin Red Line" and many more. Harry Shearer - Writer, actor, and director, voice of more than a dozen "Simpsons" characters, co-creator of and co-star of "This is Spinal Tap". John Larroquette - Actor from "Night Court" and currently on "Boston Legal". And many more. With the festival Opening Night Party acting as a fundraiser and launching pad for the Friends of New Orleans national awareness campaign, the festival will be a great opportunity to make some AMAZING connections and meet some great people... so we hope to see you at the Big Easy Shorts Festival, Nov. 15th - 18th. Again, congratulations on being accepted! This year's Big Easy Shorts Festival promises to be a fantastic event! |
