Shakespeare Workshop - (Mondays at 7pm) Scared of the Bard? Think Shakespeare is only for classically trained actors? Elisa makes Shakespeare fun and easy to understand. During the four week course Elisa will take you through a Shakespearian text from inception to performance. By the end of the course you will feel confident bringing Shakespeare’s words to life… Week 1: Reading Shakespeare Week 2: Understanding the Text Week 3: Bringing the text to life – the first steps of acting Shakespeare Week 4: Acting Shakespeare
Text Analysis Workshop - (Wednesdays at 7pm) Elisa believes that the foundation to great acting begins in understanding the text that you are about to perform. In this workshop Elisa will give you the tools you need to be an informed and prepared actor. As Elisa always says: Being a smart actor is the first step to becoming a great actor! Week 1: The Basics of Text Analysis – What you’re Given & What you’re Not Week 2: The Practice – The Objective & The Tactic Week 3: Using your text work in your Acting - Acting is Active Week 4: Acting the Text
Space is limited in these classes and it’s first come first serve so get on the list asap because the fill up fast!
Each workshop is $200 for the four weeks ($50 a class). The tuition is due before the start of each session.
